That also sounds like my approach. However, I believe that my belt aids the
scuffing, which I am afraid is a little deeper than conditioners would be
able to protect from. I am even considering putting some sort of wear patch
on the spot, but before I do I think I will visit an upholsterer and see
what they think. There is no cracking, just scratching and scraping-type
scuffing of the leather bolster. It does not help that the bolsters on the
Tib jut out a bit.
