Go to an auto store and by a clay bar in the wash and wax section. It comes
with a "lube" spray. You spray it on, then rub lightly with the clay bar.
It will take the cart stuff off the surface of the clearcoat without
touching the clearcoat.

Subject: [Elantra GT] Paint Scuffs and Dents

Some F***** slammed what I think was a Walmart cart into the side of my car,
just above the front right wheel well. Left a nice blue scuff about 2 or 3
inches long, and a matching dent. I'm looking for suggestions for how to get
rid of the scuff. I'll probably have to go to my dealership to get the dent
out. Scratching at the paint with my nail (carefully of course) doesn't
remove it. Thanks

Marc
