[Elantra GT] Write up on the 2007 Elantra

It seems to me that Hyundai is trying to move all of their models up one 
level, so it would make sense to me that the new Elantra takes place of the 
old Sonata.  If you want a 5-door, the Accent will be available with similar 
features and amenities as the current Elantra.  With the upgraded interior 
and added standard features (ABS/TCS, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, 
etc.) it seems that the customer who would have fit into the old Sonata 
would now find what they are looking for in the HD Elantra, and the current 
Elantra customer would fit into the new Accent.

I guess if they want a cheap econobox, the Kia Rio is the target, while 
previously it was the Accent.  I think that Hyundai/Kia is trying to make 
Hyundai more of a semi-luxury brand like Acura or Infiniti.  If only the 
performance matched up.
