*Something* has changed with respect to the relationship of the various elements of the interior to 
one another. There is a greater sense of spaciousness for the front seat passenger, and we surmise
it is due to a slightly shallower dash. This probably was achieved by some advancement in airbag
technology that used less space and allowed the engineers to give that space back to the passenger
compartment. However, we also question whether the HVAC plenum might have been altered in 
a way that would require a different filter or eliminate the filter slot entirely.
