There are a couple of fuses in the under-hood fuse block for the ECU (Engine
Control Unit).  Pulling one of these for a few moments (can't remember
which, but it's easy to find out -- or just pull both) will reset the ECU
and thus the Check Engine light.  No need to disconnect the entire battery
and lose all your radio settings.  ;)
