[Elantra GT] Battery

Carlos, in my experiance  my daughter 2000  Accent & my son's 2001 
Elantra the orignal battery last about 4 years, mileage has nothing to 
do with it :)

one way to check your battery to see how much is left in it is to  let 
the car sit over night (ie not after driving it becuase you get a 
surface charge)  & measure the voltage with a digital meter   if it is 
getting down near 11.0  volts it is getting close. It will run & run & 
them one day it will not work.  Sorry I don't have a web site to back me 
up...

I went to Wal-mart & got a 39.95 battery (# 47-3 I think) & is is 
working fine in both of thier cars.  I have a 2002 & I still have 12.4 
or 12.5 on my battery..
