I don't own a GT (but would like to), but from early readings on this and other sites, the smell relates to coatings on catalytic converters, etc., and will go away. Would it be crass to ask what you paid, or whether you arranged a deal before the largest component of the rebate expired in early Oct? with envy, Ron
