[Elantra GT] New Owner!

I subscribed to the Elantra GT mail list a month or two ago to learn about
Elantras.  I was in the market for a new economical hatchback and was
looking at several models.  After seeing the Drivers & Believers website and
reading the mail list, not to mention Hyundai TechWeb and several other
forums of helpful Elantra owners, I took the plunge today (Friday) and
bought a new 2005 Elantra GLS 5-door with the 4-speed automatic.

I'm looking forward to lots of trouble free miles with my new car, and it's
great to know there is such a strong support network if anything pops up!

Here's my first question:  I bought the car with 17 miles on it and already
have 100.  I notice there is a burning odor coming from the outside of the
car after normal driving (like rubber or plastic).  Is this a normal new car
smell that will dissipate in a day or two?  I think it is, but this is the
place to ask, right!
