[Elantra GT] Tiburon rear sway bar upgrade for the Elantra / Elantra GT

I don't know how fast I can make a turn. But on a right-hand curve of an on-ramp to a freeway, 40mph was as fast as I could take in terms of body roll. Now with the tib bar, at 40mph, the body roll might improve a little but I wouldn't say it's a very noticeable difference. With my wife's stock '01 Nissan Sentra SE, I feel a lot easier to take the curve.

Anyway, I bought a set of front and rear strut bars on Elantraxd.com and will see how the stut bars will help with the handling.

Nope, A rear strut bar will not help with the "liveliness". How do you
drive the car? Going fast on a turn at least 6/10ths of max cornering you
feel the difference.

I was wondering whether a rear strut bar will help with the "liveliness" in
the rear? I have the 19.2mm bar but the way I drive my car, I don't feel a
whole lot of difference from the stock bar.

I second that. With the 19.2 mm rear roll bar the handling is similar to
what you would want in a an autocrossing car. Very easy to rotate. But
you don't want that "liveliness" in the street, specially when it is wet.
Also, I don't like it when the inside rear tire comes off the ground
during hard cornering! To compensate for that I pump my rear tires to 37
psi, while carrying 34 psi on front. Yesterday, I was taking the on ramp
at full bore and the rear end was all over the place! later I checked the
tire pressures, I had 35 psi all around!. It is fun to drive a FWD car
hard in corner w/o the front end plowing to the outside.
